The Role 

We are looking for our first sales colleague – a Business Development Manager who is not only  experienced in selling solutions, platforms, and services to the cell & gene therapy and mRNA therapy  sectors but also embodies our values of teamwork, humility, and ambition. This role is integral to  setting our business development strategy, identifying and targeting potential client companies, and  establishing lasting relationships in the industry.

Key Responsibilities 

▪ Develop and execute Officinae Bio's business development strategy, identifying key target  companies and establishing relationships to drive growth. 

▪ Leverage an existing network and foster new connections within the cell & gene therapy and  mRNA therapy sectors to expand our customer base. 

▪ Work independently to manage the sales pipeline, from prospecting to closing deals, while  maintaining a disciplined and strategic approach. 

▪ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our solutions meet market needs and  customer expectations. 

▪ Represent Officinae Bio at industry conferences and networking events, enhancing our brand  presence and thought leadership. 

▪ Uphold our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction in all business dealings. 


▪ Demonstrated success in sales within the cell & gene therapy or mRNA therapy sectors. ▪ A background in molecular biology, with a deep understanding of the discovery process and  industry landscape. 

▪ An existing network of relevant contacts and the ability to build strong, productive  relationships. 

▪ A self-motivated, autonomous work style, coupled with a down-to-earth, self-assured, and  strong team player attitude. 

▪ Ambitious in driving results, with a commitment to prioritizing team success over individual  achievements. 

▪ Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a passion for prospecting and selling.
